About Veggie Market Peas IV
Three pea pods sit centred on a plain cream ground, joined at the top by a short stem with a curling tendril that loops out to the left. The two outer pods are split open to show rows of round peas in lighter green, while the middle pod stays closed and carries a wash of deeper olive down its length. Four loose peas rest along the base. Fine ink outlines edge every pod and bead, with watercolour washes pooling darker at the seams and tips.
The mood is quiet and botanical, closer to a market sketchbook page than a decorative print. A small signature sits in the lower right corner, and the pale background carries a faint woven canvas texture that keeps the green washes soft rather than sharp.
Made for kitchens, butlers pantries and dining nooks, particularly against white or pale grey walls and timber shelving.
