Why yellow works

Yellow is the colour buyers second-guess most, usually for the same reason. On a screen it sits flat; on canvas it takes on whatever light the room throws at it, warming towards mustard in afternoon sun and going faintly green under cool LEDs. Look at the wall at the hour you actually use the room. Against a grey or blue-based paint, most yellows hold. Against cream, they tend to vanish.
