About Beauty Mascara
A single mascara sits slightly left of centre on a plain white ground. The body of the tube is a tall tapered shape in crimson red, with a stepped collar and a thin dark line where the cap has been removed. To its right, the separated cap stands upright in the same red, and from it rises a long black wand ending in a bristled brush drawn with short flicked strokes. Two soft grey shadows pool beneath both pieces, anchoring them to the surface.
The washy quality of the red is clearly visible, with the pigment pooling darker along the lower edges of the tube and fading to a lighter pink where it thins near the top. Streaks and dry gaps run down the body, and the brush head is built from loose black marks rather than neat detail. It reads as a quick, confident beauty sketch: uncluttered, graphic and unfussy, with plenty of empty white around the subject.
Suits a dressing area, walk-in robe, bathroom or powder room, and works above a vanity or makeup desk. Hang it in a bedroom nook or a home office with a feminine leaning.
